With the budget and visibility of the project, it’s quite surprising Warner Bros. have not yet released more than one official still image and a smatter of leaked out pap shots from Man of Steel, the upcoming Superman resurgence helmed by Zack Snyder.

The Henry Cavill superhero, who stammers under Kryptonite but loved by many, will take more time to arrive but Warner has stirred excitement with a newly released film banner, featuring a lustrous new rendering of the classic Superman logo.

Applying a shiny bronze color outline, the new logo is more metallic, painting a picture that Snyder’s take will be a tough, direct involvement.

Oddly left out is the yellow hue filling from previous Superman logos, suggesting that Warner wants to focus on a skimpier, sleeker effect on the latest avatar.

The new logo rendition is a tad bit more resonant of the posters and title screens in the Batman Series by director Chris Nolan, in terms of lettering in particular.

Man of Steel also features Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon and Laurence Fishburne, and will debut in the US on June 14 of next year, with a UK release expected before long.
