Nicole Polizzi aka “Snooki” has rubbished media reports that she is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Jionni LaValle.
In a recent word with Fox411, the reality television personality said, “When I first heard it this morning, I thought everyone is thinking I’m fat or something. Like, am I gaining weight again? I’m not pregnant, so am I fat now? … There’s a lot of rumors.”
Yesterday, celebrity news site Star magazine had claimed that Snooki is pregnant with LaValle’s child, and the source of their report was an unnamed insider.
“She is pregnant and has only told her closest friends and some family,” the anonymous source told them.
The same person also said that the 24-year old “Jersey Shore” star had been dropping hints for the last few days that she has something major to tell everyone.
“Late night craving…yogurt hits the fricken spot ! Mmmmmm,” Snooki wrote on her official Twitter account just a few days ago.
But her media representatives have now moved to make it clear that there is no truth in their client’s pregnancy rumours.
However, Star is adamant that Snooki is pregnant and the bold publication has also predicted that the shooting and scheduling of her spin-off show with fellow-Jersey Shore star Jenni “JWoww” Farley will soon undergo changes in order to facilitate Snooki’s pregnancy.
“[MTV] are having to redo the creative direction of her spin-off because of her pregnancy,” they added.
The yet-untitled spin-off is also facing problems on the shooting front as MTV have failed to secure Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer’s permission that is required for filming in The Mile Square City.
