It’s official: Supermodel Heidi Klum has filed for divorce last Friday from her singer husband Seal.
The move from the supermodel and TV personality comes after the couple, who appeared to be one of the industry’s strongest couples in the past, announced their separation in January.
The couple has been married for more than six years and is known to show affection and strong commitment to each other.
According to reports, Heidi Klum signed the divorce filing on Thursday and had it filed on Friday in Los Angeles.
Klum cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for filing divorce.
Heidi Klum and husband Seal have four children although one of them was from a previous relationship Klum was involved in.
According to reports, the supermodel Klum is requesting that she become the sole guardian of the couple’s kids.
This includes full and exclusive physical custody of their kids with her husband only getting joint legal custody and visitation rights.
Nonetheless, the couple promised to keep their separation friendly when they announced it back in January.
