The third film of Christopher Nolan’s Batman Series is on the verge of completion. The movie titled “The Dark Knight Rises,” which is scheduled for a worldwide release on July 20, is almost ready and has already been screened by Warner Bros.’ executives.
According to The Hollywood Reporter‘s unnamed sources, Nolan recently showed the movie to Warner bigwigs for the very first time. Jeff Robinov, the president of Warner Bros Pictures, and the studio’s production president Greg Silverman, also attended the exclusive screening of “The Dark Knight Rises”.
The movie’s worldwide release will not happen until after several months, so Nolan still has time to make necessary adjustments to it. THR further reported that as soon as the London-born director finished with the production process, he started meeting with Warner officials to take their feedback.
Christian Bale has retained the Batman’s role in this summer blockbuster, which also features stars such as Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The film’s primary antagonist is Tom Hardy, who plays the character of Bane.
Meanwhile, Marvel Studios has announced that the star-studded premiere of their superhero film “The Avengers” will take place on April 11. The exclusive screening will be arranged at Los Angeles’ El Capitan Theatre and all the members of their cast are expected to attend the show.
